When our country was created, the founding fathers made it VERY CLEAR that there was NO God and NO Church, which all this DOMA discussion is mostly about and was not to be mixed into their creating the laws and rules of our country. Everyone within these United States are equal citizens and according to the ten bill of rights, have freedoms to pursue their lives as they see fit, without others controlling or making rules for their personal lives Churchwise, any word with a ‘wise’ on the end of it. These newly elected House of Representatives have brought with them a ‘faux’ Christianity mode of travel which is offensive. The speaker of the House is just as ill equipped to do his job being from a Catholic family of 12 children who all went to Catholic school, but that doesn’t mean anyone has right to ‘force on’ other’s their views of how to make choices. Everyone is different and should be allowed to live their lives as they see and feel is correct for themselves. Talk about unconstitutionality, this whole Congress is so far behind Obama. From where I can see, if there is no background law to make a decision concerning what’s correct, Obama’s decision to send everything to the Law department of our government was the best thing he could have done without showing/telling what his personal feeling is(everyone in the government has their speciality) which will insure that no one’s rights will be infringed upon. This is the whole point, keep the personal view out of the mix so things are equal and legal for all. I can tell those ‘who believe they are right on all counts’ because it’s their slant on life, which has no other view from which to of seeing the world, which is full of differences and persuits of happiness would be terribly angry with Obama. For me, I salute Obama!
